Started in the year of 2008 under new management, the company managed to achieve exponential growth over the last 12 years. We believe the quality of our Ceylon Tea is the main reason behind our success.

Green Lanka group of tea factories are located in the southern region of the country. In the Pictures Mountains that border the UNESCO world heritage Sinharaja rain forest. We are currently a 200 employee strong company with ambitious goals of expanding the operations in years to come.

We produce a vast array of different tea categories to match different taste palettes around the world.
Our annual tea production exceeds the one million kg and our expansions are focused on further improving production.
We mainly carryout Orthodox production and CTC in small scale.

In the year 2019 we moved into the exporting market and having a strong relationship with Japan and in the process of expanding to other regions also. We managed to obtain the Japanese “Frone” Food certification which is a positive milestone in our journey.
